
Clara Maïda


Clara Maïda is a French composer
(contemporary/experimental musical creation, instrumental and electronic music).
She lives both in Paris and Berlin.
She studied music composition, classical piano and psychology.
She was selected by the BERLINER KÜNSTLERPROGRAMM of the DAAD in 2007 for a one-year stay in Berlin in 2007-08. Her project Shel(l)ter was premiered during ULTRASCHALL festival (CLARA MAÏDA - PORTRAIT-CONCERT of the DAAD) in 2010 in Berlin (DE).
Laureate of various international awards and grants, she has been keeping up with her transversal research at the intersection of composition, psychoanalysis, Deleuze and Guattari's philosophy, and nanosciences.
She names her music a "nanomusic".
