The Studies for Kinêm(a)nima are small-format acrylic paintings, either on cotton canvas (10x10cm), or on photographic paper (10x15cm format).

These small paintings are preliminary explorations of the techniques used for the painting Kinêm(a)nima, notably the bipolarity of colours (black and white), the undulatory texture made with Gesso, as well as a work on movement and on the fluidity of the lines.
