The title of the series, Rhizhommes, condenses the French terms "rhizome" and "hommes" ("men") and alludes to the concept developed by French philosophers Deleuze and Guattari.

In this 17-drawing selection, the filaments follow various trajectories, are interwoven, form clusters, or tear apart, revealing a semblance of shapes in motion whose undefined outlines can be endlessly varied, seeming quasi human, animal, vegetal. These shapes can be perceived as hybrid beings at the intersection of several possible ephemeral identities, or as graphic snapshots of pure movement that would never settle on a specific category.
